Wednesday 24th

After  school we left our laptops at the office and  went by bus 225 to the west coast to Golden bay,  there were lovely beaches. I enjoyed swimming in crystal clear worm water. It was fantastic. We also saw the oldest prehistoric temple in Mgar and bought local tomatoes from producers. Everything is being watered here. Malta is a very dry country.
The back journey was a real adventure. We waited for our bus for 1 hour – it was supposed to go 3 times in an hour according to the timetable, but finally we had to take a different bus, but the driver spoke only Maltese. Surprising, isn´t it? So we could not get  any information from him. We got off somewhere, but next bus did not stop, another one took us to a stop where we could catch our bus, but some of them were overcrowded so the drivers did not let us get on.
The last bus stopped in few minutes, because 3 inspectors wanted to check all the tickets and some people jumped off so they followed these people and forced them to get on again and pay the fine. It took a lot of time and a bus behind us could not get from the bus stop and hit into us , the back window crashed into pieces and we had to use a different bus. When I was apologizing at home for being late for 1.5 hours it seemed to me that they thought that I was making excuses  only. We had seen 2 chameleons  and a scink.
Being at home, I can say that this afternoon was great.
